Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels
A native variety of Epirus, with pleasant acidity, soft tannins, and aromatic notes of pepper. Rossiu di Munte means “red of the mountain” in the local Vlach dialect. Limited release wine.
A wine with a clear red color and an impressive aromatic bouquet, dominated by notes of freshly ground pepper. It has good acidity and round, soft tannins that gently fade on the palate. Light and harmonious, it is distinguished by its peppery aftertaste.
AGEING POTENTIAL: 8-10 years
FOOD PAIRING: Charcoal-grilled steaks, aged yellow cheeses, game birds.
