Asyrtiko from two exceptional vineyards in Santorini, in Pyrgos and Megalochori, which are over 200 years old.
Fermentation takes place in a concrete tank located underground, and the wine remains with its lees for 14 months.
Yellow, lemon color with green highlights. On the nose, elegant aromas of citrus fruits, green apple, pear, and peach, lemon blossom, and mineral notes. Full-bodied, rich, yet refined on the palate, with crisp acidity and a very long finish with intense minerality.
AGEING POTENTIAL: 8-10 years
FOOD PAIRING: fish, shellfish, seafood, traditional vegetable pies, and strong cheeses
