The color is deep purple with ruby highlights. The nose is concentrated, complex, and multidimensional. Aromas of red cherry, ripe plum, sweet vanilla, with hints of violet and smoke unfold. The palate is round, velvety, and full of very ripe, soft tannins. Deep black and red fruit dominate, followed by aromas of spices and smoke. The finish is rich, long, and complex.
AGEING POTENTIAL: 7-8 years
FOOD PAIRING: red meat, poultry, and semi-hard cheeses.
