Aged for 12 months in oak barrels, 1/3 of which are new.
Deep purple color with aromas of blackcurrant, black berries, oak wood, and vanilla. Rich, full-bodied with pleasant acidity and balanced flavor. Velvety tannins and delightful aftertaste.
AGEING POTENTIAL: 10+ years
FOOD PAIRING: fine red meats, aged cheeses, cold cuts platters, grilled meats.
