Limnio, the oldest recorded Greek variety, was revived in the late 1960s at Domaine Porto Carras, the largest organic vineyard in Greece.
The classic red vinification method is applied at controlled temperatures. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.
Deep ruby color. Aromas of red fruits, with notes of pepper, vanilla, and sweet spices. Velvety and full-bodied on the palate, with soft tannins and a generous finish.
FOOD PAIRING: White and red meats, Mediterranean cuisine, cheese platters.
