P.G.I. Crete
Kotsifali 100%
Aged for 2 years in oak barrels, which are not refilled, thus enhancing contact with oxygen.
Kotsifali “Karnari” is a wine that adapts the tradition of Marouva wine production in western Crete to the present day, striving for a more elegant style. The Kotsifali variety cultivated in the “Karnari,” produced the wine of the same name, with the warmth of the alcohol evident in sweet notes of fruit and spices, elements that reveal its two years of aging in second-use oak barrels. The noble effect of oxygen, both aromatic and gustatory, is perfectly assimilated into the wine in such a way as to add complexity and stability.
