Catarratto, Zibibbo
Crudo Catarratto Zibibbo wine is a light, fresh, and fruity version that enjoys balance and richness of sensations. Zibibbo is the Sicilian name for the Muscat of Alexandria variety, which gives it its distinctive aroma. After harvesting, the two grape varieties ferment in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures of 14 to 16 °C.
It is characterized by a light yellow color and tropical fruit aromas, particularly pineapple and citrus. Also noteworthy are sweet notes of candied orange peel, quince jelly, and a pinch of salt. The taste is fresh, fruity, and well balanced. It leaves hints of mango, pineapple, and white flowers on the palate.
FOOD PAIRING: spicy Asian dishes, seafood and fresh salads, aperitifs.
