PGI Drama
60% Sauvignon Blanc, 35% Assyrtiko, 5% Malagouzia
Label designed by Yannis Gigourtakis. With a dreamlike narrative that seems to have sprung from illustrated manuscripts of the Renaissance, the painter renders on canvas the sensory journey awakened by each sip of wine. Yigurtakis drew inspiration for his theme from his visit to the winery and from Florence, a place inextricably linked to the family of Nikos Lazaridis. The painting in White depicts the beginning of a journey, a road opening up, next to tall cypress trees and among vineyards.
The blend highlights the aromatic complexity of Sauvignon Blanc, emphasizing tropical and citrus fruits, which are combined with the richness and acidity of Assyrtiko and the pleasant floral notes of Malagouzia. A wine with an intense nose and aromas of mango, papaya, pineapple, citron, lemongrass, flint , and white flowers. The palate is full of pleasant crisp acidity and a long aromatic finish.
FOOD PAIRING: stews with vegetables, pasta with basil sauce, and salads with goat cheese.
