Bordeaux France
AOC Pomerol
5% Cabernet Franc, 93% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot
The big change here came in 1994, when a plot of vineyard with old Cabernet Franc vines belonging to Château Le Gay became the property of La Fleur-Pétrus, giving it a whole new dimension. Since then, each new harvest has made us smile a little wider.
Luxurious and elegant, with sufficient structure and seriousness, it remains playful and sensual. Blackberries, pomegranates, and raspberries with a cool mint freshness and hints of dark chocolate are accompanied by exotic spices. The tannins are supple, giving the perfect weight on the palate with a hint of wet stone in the long finish. Wine you’ll fall in love with immediately!
