P.G.I. Drama
Sauvignon Blanc 85%, Assyrtiko 15%
The cosmopolitan Sauvignon Blanc and the Aegean Assyrtiko, the two white varieties that Costas Lazaridis first planted in the vineyard of Drama, shape the character of this wine.
Straw-colored, crystal clear, with greenish highlights, a sign of youthfulness.
Attractive, fresh aromas reminiscent of peach, mango, and pineapple, with a lemony background. The grace and finesse of Sauvignon Blanc meet the power and intensity of Assyrtiko.
The result is a wine with a cool but full mouthfeel and a long fruity finish.
FOOD PAIRING: Green salads, vegetable pies, roasted vegetables, seafood and shellfish with light sauces, grilled fish with lemon juice and herbs. Fresh white cheeses, such as Anevato or Xynomizithra, as well as French Chèvre.
