Particularly deep red, approaching purple. Extremely complex aromatic bouquet, reminiscent of plum, dark cherry jam, vanilla, dried fig and dark chocolate. A rich palate that will become even more expressive with time. Full-bodied, with tannins that are already delicious and a long, spicy finish.
AGEING POTENTIAL: 8-10 years
FOOD PAIRING: rich meats with hearty sauces, four-legged game, lobster cooked in red wine sauce, pork knuckle, osso buco, and charcoal-grilled red tuna fillet.
