Ageing for 12 months in oak barrels
Deep ruby color, nose with intense complex bouquet, aromas of violet, licorice, red sweet fruits, apricot, and balanced oak.
Rich, spicy palate with very elegant velvety tannins, catalytic acidity and a finesse rarely found in Greek wines.
Velvety texture and long aftertaste.
Unfiltered and unstabilized wine. Any amount of sediment in the bottle is normal. It is recommended to decant it into a carafe 30 minutes before consumption.
AGEING POTENTIAL: 10+ years
FOOD PAIRING: fine red meats, spicy dishes, aged cheeses
