Malagousia, Chardonnay
From selected vineyards in the mountainous region of Aegialia, one of Greece’s most iconic wine-growing areas, at an altitude of 900m. A blend of locally grown Chardonnay and Malagousia, one of Greece’s most aromatic grape varieties.
Straw yellow color with greenish tones. Intense nose with aromas reminiscent of green apple, ripe pear, pepper, and fresh aromatic herbs. Rich volume on the palate and impeccable balance thanks to its crisp acidity, coated with oily notes reminiscent of Chardonnay. Rich aromas on the palate against a backdrop of green fruit and lemongrass, with spicy notes on the finish.
FOOD PAIRING: sashimi and sushi, seafood or fish carpaccio, grilled poultry, tenderloin with curry, fried rabbit, seafood pasta, risotto with asparagus, roasted peppers, and green salads with aromatic herbs.
